SERVING GOD AND THE INTEREST OF HIS KINGDOM PAYS THE UNMATCHABLE (Pt. 2A) || Bishop David Oyedepo
Serving God is a big-time business.
There is no match for the blessings of service anywhere under the sun.
Exodus 23:26 – “There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.”
Serving God is Kingdom business with undeniable returns.
This is not serving your church or your pastor but serving God as a business.
You can’t get rewarded when you are out of service!
The end-time Church is ordained as the Church of giants; believers who will stay on course till God’s purposes for their lives come into manifestation.
There are no great people in the kingdom; it is the backing of the great God that makes ordinary people great in the Kingdom.
Every aspect of Kingdom advancement endeavours is highly profitable.
When you pray Kingdom advancement prayers secretly, God’s sworn verdict is to reward you openly.
When you commit to God, He keeps changing your story financially and when what moves God moves you, He keeps moving you forward.
Platforms for Kingdom Advancement Endeavours
- Targeting specific souls and families to bring to Christ.
John 1:40-46 – 40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
-We can target families on prayers.
-Your testimony is your strongest message.
John 4:29 – “Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?”
– Engage the love sickle to rescue souls, not as a religious practice.
Daniel 12:3 – “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
- Start somewhere.
- Passionately inviting your contacts to come to church.
1 Samuel 2:20 – “And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home.”
Revelation 22:17-18 – 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
– Bringing souls to Church attracts God’s honour to your life.
For your Stewardship to Qualify for Rewards:
- You must serve God cheerfully.
Deuteronomy 28:48 – “Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.”
– Serving God with joy is the most suitable approach to stewardship.
– Where your joy stops is where your reward stops.
– Don’t see serving God as a burden; see it as a privilege.
- Serve God willingly.
1 Corinthians 9:17- “For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.”
2 Corinthians 8:12 – “For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.”
– Murmuring while serving does not bring rewards.
– Let your service to God come from the heart, not as a show-off to people.
